How do you remember everyone you meet?
Right after the conversation, hold the microphone and say the person's name, company, where you met, what matters to them and what you promised. VoiceJot turns that into a contact record with a follow-up reminder. When it is time, Joey can draft a personal message for you to review before you send it.
A business card or a phone number does not tell you why the conversation mattered. The details that make a follow-up work, such as a school district, a job search deadline or a budget question, are the first things you forget. Saying them out loud is quick, and you can do it before the next conversation starts.
Real estate agents
After an open house or a buyer consultation, capture the needs while they are fresh. Illustrative example, not a customer recording:
Dana and Chris Lee, met at the open house on Elm Street. They need three bedrooms near Lincoln Elementary, they are pre-approved, and they want to see the Oak Street listing. Call them Thursday.
VoiceJot can separate the names, the context and the Thursday follow-up so you can review them before saving.
Recruiters
Between candidate calls or at a career fair, record what you learned: current role, what they want next, salary expectations if they shared them, and the next step you agreed. The follow-up reminder helps you reply while the candidate is still interested.
Sales reps
After a booth conversation or a discovery call, say the pain point, the decision maker, the budget question and the promised next step. If you are driving, wait until you have parked. Your notes stay tied to the person, not buried in a long list of voice memos.
Event networkers and founders
At a conference you may meet twenty people in a day. Capture each one right after you talk: who they are, what you discussed and what you offered to send. At the end of the day, your follow-ups are already waiting.
What VoiceJot saves for each person
- Name, company and title, plus email, phone or LinkedIn profile if you say them
- Where and when you met
- Interests and conversation notes in your own words
- Next steps, with a reminder when a follow-up is due
- A draft follow-up message, which you can open in your email app, Messages or WhatsApp, or copy for LinkedIn
If a similar contact already exists, VoiceJot asks what you want to do instead of silently creating a duplicate.
What VoiceJot does not do
- It is not a CRM and does not sync contacts to CRM tools. If your company requires a CRM, use VoiceJot to capture quickly, then copy what matters into it.
- It does not send messages on its own. You review every draft and decide what to send.
- It is not built to record meetings or calls. It is for short captures after the conversation.
- Transcription can mishear names and numbers. Check them before you save.
Follow your company's rules and local privacy law when you store details about clients or candidates. VoiceJot saves notes on your device first, cloud sync is optional, and you can lock the app with Face ID.
